In 2009 – 2012, DutchInspect BV was managing logistics and acting as cargo superintendent in Buchanan / Liberia for Buchanan Renewable Energy (BRE). This company was harvesting redundant Rubbertree Plantations In Liberia after which these areas we replanted with young rubbertrees. The harvested rubbertrees were shredded and stockpiled in the port of Buchanan before being loaded onto vessels carrying these rubbertree woodchips to Europe to be used as source for renewable energy. The port of Buchanan at that time had no infrastructure for loading vessels. DutchInspect BV utilized its knowledge of Liberia and the port of Buchanan and supervised storage, transport to the quay and loading of the woodchips onto vessels.
